Hello, SG7 Fans!

By popular demand, SG7 has been invited back to the Texas Jazz Festival again this year which will be held October 16-18, 2009 in Corpus Christi, TX.

For this performance, SG7 will hold a competition to select two instrumental students to perform ON STAGE with SG7 at the Festival (one high school student and one college student)!!!
If you are interested in competing, follow the instructions below:
1. Click on the link below and download the file "TJF09_Contest.zip". Extract all the files.

2. Complete the contest application form. Scan the last page to a jpeg file when completed.
3. Record your solos using the two solo track mp3 files ("Rio Que Eu Amo" and "Blame It On Trio").
The sheet music is included in the zip file. Save your recordings as MP3 files.
4. Email your scanned application form, recorded solos and if possible, a digital photo of yourself to TJF09_Contest@sgsjazz.com.
5. Winners will be announced on September 1, 2009.

Thank you for visiting our web site! We are a Jazz/Latin/Funk band actively playing in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California, basically the Los Angeles area, however, we will play anywhere!
